MCQST starting in January 2019
MCQST Cluster of Excellence is approved
The joined proposal of the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich and the Technical University of Munich with partners Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Walther-Meißner-Institute for Low Temperature Researchand, and Deutsches Museum for a Cluster of Excellence is approved by the DFG.
In January 2019 the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology will start with a broad research program which ranges from fundamental science to applications in all fields of quantum science and technology.
